◼ Biography
Prof. Su received the MD and PhD from the China Medical University (CMU). Prof. Su is a
dual license doctor (both modern and Chinese medicine), and had been a full-time teacher of

CMU since 1992 to 2021. In addition, he had been served as the Chairman of School of Chinese
Medicine and Director of Institute of Chinese Medical Science in CMU. He established the
Taiwan Association for the Education of Chinese Medicine (TAECM) and had been the
Chairman. He planned and has executed reform in the Taiwan’s TCM educational system for

30 years. He is the inventor of the world’s first traditional medicine scientific Questionnaire
named Body Constitution Questionnaire (BCQ), and also is the inventor of NRICM101 and
NRICM102 for the treatment of COVID-19. His R&D team won the 4 national awards (Expo-
Future Technology Award-Gold Award, Pharmaceutical Technology Research and

Development Award-Silver Award, National Innovation Award-Gold Award in 2021, National
Industrial Innovational Award in 2025) and Taipei Biotechnology Award Technology Transfer
Cooperation Award-Gold Award in 2022. He was also awarded the 2023 Executive Yuan
Outstanding Science and Technology Contribution Award and will continue to contribute to the

research and development of traditional medicine around the world in the future.
