               Abstract
The soft coral Subergorgia suberosa, which belongs to the Subergorgiidae family, is an
important source of marine natural products. The major structural classes include terpenes and
steroids were isolated from S. suberosa. The compounds of S. suberosa have been demonstrated
diverse pharmacological activities, particularly anti-inflammatory, antiviral, antitumor,
cytotoxic, and antibacterial activities. There are three known sterols, including 24-
               methylcholesterol (1), 24-methylene cholest-5-en-3-ol (2), and gorgosterol (3) were isolated
from S. suberosa, the structures were elucidated by using NMR and Mass spectrotometry.
